Technology - Sqube®

Sekvenca bases its applications and solutions on sqube®, a proprietary 3D visualization and application development platform.

Sqube® is used for rapid development of applications based on 3D visualization of data. It is designed to allow production of high quality and reliable interactive solutions running in real-time on low-end regular computers. An important feature of sqube® is the built-in capability of displaying any 3D-image in 3D-stereoscopy in addition to the typical 3D-image on regular computer screens.

In designing solutions, we combine the team's vast knowledge in various areas, concepts of interactive art and extensive experience from software development in entertainment industry and elsewhere. Prior to developing sqube® thorough research of existing systems was carried out and the drawbacks and advantages found in these systems were analysed in detail. Consequently, structure, interfaces and features of sqube® are built for development of a wide range of virtual reality applications and tools. Being aware of constantly advancing technology, we developed the platform in a manner supporting technological evolution. Hence, improvements in technology lead to improvements in sqube® performance.
